When is the deadline?
The next deadline is 31 December 2026, confirmed.
Americas registration closes 31 December 2026, open since 17 August. Europe (FT1000) closes 30 November 2026, open since 1 September. Both lists published March 2027.
How competitive is it?
FT Americas' Fastest-Growing Companies and FT1000 Europe is one of the more attainable programs in our calendar, and a good first recognition for an early company. A clear, specific entry submitted early has a real chance. It is followed internationally, so a place on it travels: investors, customers and reporters outside your home market will recognize it.
The organizer sells licensing, events or packages to winners. Being selected does not require buying any of them. Statista earns from logo licensing. Revenue figures are self-declared and then verified.
A plan to prepare your entry
Counting back from the deadline of 31 December 2026 (confirmed):
- By 19 November 2026: Collect your proof. Growth numbers with dates, customers or partners willing to be named, and links to any coverage.
- By 10 December 2026: Write the core answers. What is new, why now, and the three facts that prove it, each with a number or a name.
- By 24 December 2026: Get a cold read and check the rules. Have someone outside the company read it, cut anything that cannot be checked, and confirm the current rules on the official page.
- 31 December 2026: Deadline. Submit a few days before this date rather than on it.
What makes an entry stand out
- Lead with three facts you can prove, each with a number or a name: growth over a stated period, a named customer or partner, a round and who led it.
- Say what is new in one sentence: what you do that others in your field do not, and why it matters now.
- Link to proof wherever the form allows: coverage, product pages, published results.
- Write for a tired reader. Judges and editors read hundreds of entries. Plain and specific beats long and polished.
Coverage makes the entry easier
Judges and editors search your name before they decide. A story in the right outlet is proof that is hard to fake, and it starts with the right reporter. Describe your company in one sentence and see the 3 reporters most likely to cover it, with the angle to pitch each one. Free, no card.
